Sled Hockey is ice hockey for people with disabilities, a hard-hitting, competitive, intense sport. This is no figure skating!
It is a sport that is very different from other sports in the community for people with disabilities. It takes 2–3 runs to actually get on the sled and move it to get the hang of it. But, what a fantastic sport it is!
Games are played on regulation ice hockey rinks with 6-player teams (5 positional players and 1 goalie).
